Launch Pad 34

At the Kennedy Space Center, NASA has preserved the Apollo 1 launch pad at launch complex 34 in memory of the three astronauts, Virgil "Gus" Grissom, Ed White and Roger Chaffee, who lost their lives here in a fire on January 27, 1967 during a routine training exercise.
